Just passed 600 pages and am approaching the end of "The Part About the Crimes." People are not kidding when they say this part's tough to get through, but this really is a wonderful book.

Miss Mac got put on the backburner when I got sucked into 2666, but I'm looking forward to diving back in once I'm done with ol' Roberto. The language really is unlike anything else I've read. Aiming to make a decent-sized dent in this one over September.
